King Without a Throne

So now that the shit talking, spoofs, and photo shopping has died down, I figure there's no time like the present to address what may possibly go down as being one of the most talked about moments of 2011. Let me preface this by saying that I am not a fan of any particular team in the NBA, haven't been for years. I do happen to like individual players, some for skill (Derrick Rose) and others for looks (Sergio Ibaka). Moving on....

I could care less when the hype was made about Bron moving to Miami, even though I watched the entire over hyped event. But how can the masses not admit that newest "Big Three" did more and went farther than all critics anticipated in their first year. And the title "Big Three" was for a while slightly asinine to me considering Chris Bosh hadn't really been a factor in the game since he was on Toronto. But I will admit that to me, in the finals against Chicago and the Championship against Dallas, he stepped up more so than your boi. (Ugly hype faces and all). The team itself is not so much young, but younger than the previous champs, but all in all I think the will and the drive that showed forth when they did play collectively is a force to be reckoned with. If only they could close a close game....

I'm happy for Dirk and ecstatic for J. Kidd, I'll even go as far as to give a shout out to Jason Terry (all glory be to God), I think the Mavs proved to be the better team by far in that series. But all around there was supposed "drama on the court" during various rounds of the playoffs. Gasol's fiance, or lack there of, Kobe's wife, and Bron's baby mama drama. More than enough for the average man to be distracted but forgive me if I feel like all you fools get paid the big bucks to keep ya shit together.

I can say that this year's playoffs were the most exciting in a while for me and I do look forward to the upcoming year. I hope all you young, heart having teams work on your close outs and I also hope that Miami makes it to the finals again, yea I said it. Kudos to you Lebron, Benedict Arnold that some think you are, you keeping your eye on the prize. Cleveland, you should be disappointed for turning on that man like that, you shoulda gotten him the help he needed when he needed it. Instead...you gave him Shaq, who I am particularly proud is finally retired. He was on more teams in 10 years than Nas had albums....

Side Note: I really hope the nets get some help for Deron Williams before they move to Brooklyn. Cuz whoever thought that not only building a stadium in the middle of what may be considered the most gridlocked streets of Brooklyn, you wanna bring a team into it that currently sucks. E-cu me??? Forrest City, Marty, Bloomberg, Hov even, get that shit together in a timely fashion, I beg of you. Cause no one wants to watch a shitty team play even if it is in the middle of one of the best cities on earth.

That is all for now. O, how could I forget, "Metta World Peace" What kind of messed name is that?? Not that we didn't think you were 730 before, but Mr. Artest I believe this time you have fallen off your rocker...

Catch me tomorrow, topic of course being the release of......Gucci, Plaxico, and T.I (eventually but prolly not for good) I'm takin bets
