Purpose

I just finished reading "The Alchemist". Very inspiring and motivating book, quick read if you wanna check it out. Thanks for the recommendation Mr. Strickland.

Moving on....in a way it reminds me of the movie "The Pursuit of Happyness", more so in the message. The things that we want the most are the things that we are going to have to fight the hardest for. They're going to be nearly impossible to attain if only minimal effort is contributed. And we will be tested, tried, interrupted, corrupted, and often misguided before the smallest of results or headway is even made. Determination if you will is of the essence. Patience is key, and perseverance is powerful. Hence the old but never out dated saying "good things come to those who wait."

Not many people in their lifetime are able to figure out their calling. Many have no idea what they were put on this earth to do and some don't care or bother to figure it out. Me on the other hand, I think about it everyday, all day. I'm serious. I have been able to rule out a few things, but I've yet to narrow it down to that ONE. But I've made it my mission to do so. I don't know about you but I wanna know, badly. Most ppl say that I should be in a psychologist or therapist or a profession along those line, because I'm logical, rational, open-minded and non-judgemental. Right! And at one point I thought I could be any of those, but I know my heart, and it often times is hard to keep separate from situations in which I want to help but can't. (It's my downfall as we speak). And I don't think consciously overwhelming myself with the burdens of others is what I was put here to do or what will keep my happy throughout my life's stroll. So I'm not gonna do that, sorry guys! Feel free to still holla at me though, I'll do what I can.

So on my personal quest to see what life has in store for me, I take heed to any and everything that I can. I may not be the conversation starter, but I will be your devil's advocate. Reason being, so many ppl are filled with hot air and they always find a way to corrupt the souls of the weak and the gullible. There comes a point when you have to decipher between who's just talking and who to take seriously. If you are stating facts, then you should be able to back it up. Defend you argument, stand your ground against your own convictions. Don't get defensive. And if you can't, then shut the fuck up , seriously!

To get back on track, know your purpose! Stop getting caught up in what ppl say and what they believe. What's right for them may not be right for you at all and what makes them happy may in turn make you miserable. Live a life that's you're own, don't be concerned with what "they" say is the right way to live. Who the fuck is "they" anyway??? And nine times outta ten "they" are lying. Slowly but surely I'm finding my purpose, and in the mean time I am surrounding myself with ppl that encourage me to be me and to be real. Real ppl, that have bad days and show signs of weakness, who cry even know they know sometimes it isn't worth it. Ppl who along my caravan, I will NEVER forget. To them I will FOREVER be grateful. Even to the ones that have come and gone, your presence in my life, no matter how short lived, I found the purpose for, so thank you as well.

Often times I experience "signs" if you will. (I do possess a bit of crazy, but I'm serious, lol.) Hints, subtle messages, premonitions even, that can be missed in the blink of an eye. Even before reading this book I believed that the Universe speaks to us, or maybe its just me. Either way it sends ppl and predicaments our way, and how we react is the ultimate test. I believe the Universe can hear our thoughts, dreams, and wishes. The human mind can speak things into fruition. As far as why some thoughts, dreams, and/or wishes don't come true, that my friend is the key to it all.

Just because you're being listened to, doesn't mean that you are going to get what you want right when you want it. Answers, are always only revealed at the right time. Attention must be paid. To everything. The form it comes in may not be what you were expecting. And with that said, always expect the unexpected. Don't be too mad or too surprised about ANYTHING. EVERYTHING is possible. YOU control NOTHING!!. You deal with it or it deals with you. Simple.
